Even at a young age, I enjoyed captivating audiences with a good story. Naturally, my favorite subject in first grade was show-and-tell. As a teenager, I shrieked upon the stage in silver face paint as the Moon in a high school production of Garcia Lorca’s BLOOD WEDDING and the rosy cheeked cook in an original children’s theatre production of ALICE AND WONDERLAND. More recently, I was a dementia patient on ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY and the nurse in the teaser of episode #109 of the hit TV show CHUCK on NBC. I've been blessed to play the amazing and challenging roles of Ruth Steiner in Donald Margulies's COLLECTED STORIES, Pope Joan/Louise in Caryl Churchill's TOP GIRLS, Ana in Sarah Ruhl's THE CLEAN HOUSE, the nurse in the Woman’s Will production of ROMEO AND JULIET, Toby in Neil Simon’s THE GINGERBREAD LADY, Helicanus in PERICLES at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts’ (London) Acting Shakespeare program, Lady Montague in Marin Shakespeare Company’s ROMEO AND JULIET and Mrs. Darling/Narrator in Town Hall Theatre of Lafayette’s PETER & WENDY. Film work includes: “Greens,” “Bust A Shalom,” “Imprint” and “Planet of the Blacks.” I received my M.A. in theatre from San Francisco State University. A member of both SAG and AFTRA, I was the voice of Long’s Drugstore training program for many years. Now I enjoy working to make our new theatre company, ESSENTIAL ACTION PRODUCTIONS a success!
